UNICEF Belgium. II Place in Competition
How do you create a change? By influencing the people that can make that change. Creating a product that will influence policymakers but through selling to families. For this, we developed a collectible stuffed animal that will be UNICEF mascot:
Otis the Owl. Otis has a mission; he will focus on a different specific child right every year because clear focused messages work best for policymakers. Through “Otis”, the new face, ears, eyes, and voice of UNICEF, we want to teach and generate awareness towards children’s rights, he is a protector.
With the Otis campaign and product, we want to stimulate awareness around UNICEF, generate recurring revenue, and finally, reach an audience as big as possible that can influence the policymakers.
